Sophia's Bat Mitzvah Challenge
I am excited to be participating in the Bat Mitzvah Charity challenge where I will be climbing Mount Snowdon on July 9 with my dad and 25 other Bnei mitzvah and their parents.
I’m looking to do this climb in support of Shalva. Having visited Shalva in Israel on a few occasions, participated and attended a number of its events in London, I believe the support it offers to children (many of whom are my age or younger) and their families is incredibly meaningful and that this is a charity which truly transforms people’s lives.
As dance is a passion of mine, the money I hope to raise is specifically going towards dance therapy so that the Shalva kids have a greater opportunity to enjoy and benefit from dance.
I have just organised and ran with some friends a half term kids camp which was a big success and raised £400 and I’m looking to increase this to £1,500 through further sponsorship. Your contribution will also be matched (£ for £) by a generous donor.
