Vanessa's Adventure! #take 3
As some of you already know, this is the 3rd challenge I've taken on to raise money for the wonderful organisation called Shalva.
1 was a half marathon I was totally unprepared for.
2 was Mount Kilimanjaro I was half prepared for.
3 will be Atlas mountains I will hopefully be fully prepared for!!
As for Shalva..
It is an organisation located in Jerusalem that provides the most amazing care and facilities for children with special needs and their families.
It is a charity that is very close to my heart, as I worked there for 2 years, facilitating movement therapy groups with many of the beautiful children.
I fell in love with Shalva from the minute I was exposed to it, not only because of its impressiveness but even more so, because of the obvious love and care that's ensured and provided, in a family style manner, through those working there daily.
It is an extraordinary organisation that I truly believe in and aim to help keep running always.
Of course I won't deny how much I love an adventure as well.. so this trek, climbing Atlas Mountains in Morocco is definitely something i'm also looking very forward to doing!! :)
My goal is to raise 1,200 GBP for Shalva which I thoroughly hope you guys can help me to do!
